It's finally official
Finally got my acceptance letter on Thursday (during a commercial of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade) to Lancaster University! I am excited beyond words and am trying (in vain) to keep myself from constantly checking student travel websites and the like.
To those of youwho may be wondering, I have set up a "blog" because:
- I am fairly sure that my mother will have a conniption(sp?) if I do not keep her updated on my every activity while abroad
- I want to give everyone at Case another computer-related procrastination outlet once Facebook dies down
- I could send update emails, but everyone gets a bazillion anyway and I don't want to be presumptous and send them to people who are rejoicing in my absence
Someone mentioned to me that AIM doesn't always work abroad. I guess that makes sense seeing as how it's "America" Online. I don't know if I buy that or not, but just in case I'm never on AIM, I'm giving people (i.e.: the three of you that will check this now and then) a chance to see the address.
